About Me.

My work is rooted in a deep interest in Earth materials, their formation, evolution, and the ways they shape the world around us. I’ve focused on understanding the geochemistry of rocks and minerals, especially the behavior of critical elements that play a central role in modern technologies and the shift toward more sustainable energy systems.

As a geochemist, my work forms a connected chain from identifying the sources of elements to exploring their applications and evaluating their environmental impacts. I’ve contributed to projects focused on critical elements exploration, sustainable use, and the potential risks these materials pose to ecosystems and human health. To support this work, I’ve built expertise in elemental speciation, mobility, redox dynamics, fate and transport, and source apportionment tools that help to understand how elements behave in natural and anthropogenic systems. Along the way, I’ve applied advanced techniques, such as using 3D imaging in a recent study on porosity evolution in energy-relevant rocks to better understand fluid–mineral interactions and support the recovery, reuse, and long-term management of key resources.

My experience bridges both research and practical application across academic and industry settings. I’ve worked independently and as part of international teams throughout Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America — often in multidisciplinary environments and unfamiliar terrains, where I’ve had to adapt quickly, keep learning, and contribute wherever I was needed.

What ties all of this together is a practical, science-driven mindset. I value clarity, adaptability, and long-term thinking, especially where natural systems and industrial needs overlap. I see geochemistry not just as a research field, but as a tool for better, more responsible decisions about how we manage the planet’s resources.

I’m available to contribute to projects where applied geochemistry can add value, whether through research, analysis, or practical solutions. If you're working on a challenge where this kind of expertise is needed, I’d be glad to connect.
